The EPIS ThinkTank is a student-led organisation focused on foreign and security policy that brings together more than 300 engaged young academics across Europe. Through diverse formats such as the EPIS Blog, regional Working Groups, the EPIS Magazine, and the EPIS Talks podcast series, EPIS enriches the foreign and security landscape with fresh and critical youth perspectives.
In addition to publishing student-led research and analysis, EPIS also features guest contributions from high-profile experts, including ambassadors, foreign ministers, journalists, and leading researchers. Its podcast, EPIS Talks, provides insights into the views and experiences of key figures shaping the foreign and security policy landscape.
With its growing community and strong commitment to youth engagement, EPIS aims to foster a more inclusive, innovative, and forward-looking European policy dialogue.

Experience and skills expected of the post holder
We welcome motivated students & young professionals from diverse academic background. Ideally, you:
- Are currently pursuing (or have recently completed) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Have a genuine interest in foreign and security policy, European affairs, or international cooperation.
- Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal); fluency in English is required (additional languages are a plus).
- Are comfortable working remotely and independently, while also being a reliable team player.
- Show initiative, curiosity, and organizational skills, especially when juggling multiple tasks.
- Have basic familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, social media platforms, or are open to learning.
Previous experience in student initiatives, NGOs, or editorial work is an advantage but not a requirement.
